1. Agreement to This Policy
This Store Policy governs all purchases made through ShootIndoorsPhilly.com and at our retail counter, including range time and lane reservations, classes and training courses, memberships, the Gold Safe Shooter Program, gift cards, firearm rentals, ammunition, targets, merchandise, and accessories.
By placing an order, completing checkout, or purchasing at the counter, you agree to this Store Policy, our Refund Policy, our Privacy Policy, our Customer Code of Conduct, and the Electronic Liability Release, Hold Harmless & Participation Agreement (the "Waiver"), accessible through the "Complete Waiver" link on ShootIndoorsPhilly.com.
At checkout you will be asked to affirmatively check a box confirming that you have read and accept the no-refund terms. Your checkbox acceptance and electronic order record constitute your agreement, and are legally binding under the Pennsylvania Uniform Electronic Transactions Act and the federal E-SIGN Act.
2. All Sales Are Final — No Refunds
Consistent with Section 4 of the Waiver, which states that all payments, sales, rentals, and classes are non-refundable for any reason:
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. SHOOT INDOORS KOP LLC DOES NOT ISSUE REFUNDS, CREDITS, OR EXCHANGES ON ANY PURCHASE, including but not limited to:
- range time, lane reservations, and range passes
- classes, courses, private instruction, and training packages
- memberships and membership dues, whether paid monthly, annually, or in advance
- the Gold Safe Shooter Program and other program fees, which the Waiver expressly designates non-refundable
- firearm rentals and rental packages
- ammunition, targets, cleaning supplies, and consumables
- eye and ear protection and other safety equipment
- apparel, merchandise, and accessories
- gift cards and stored value
- event, private-party, and facility-rental bookings and deposits
- assessed fees under Section 7 below
This policy applies whether or not the product or service was used, whether or not you attended a scheduled class or reservation, and whether the purchase was made online or in person.
The only exception is the class rescheduling exception in Section 3.
3. Class Rescheduling Exception — One Business Day Notice by Telephone
We understand that plans change. As a limited accommodation, and as the sole exception to Section 2:
If you telephone Shoot Indoors at (484) 965-9638 at least one (1) full business day before your scheduled class start time, we will reschedule you into another available session of the same class at no additional charge.
3.1 How the exception works
- Telephone notice is required. You must speak with a Shoot Indoors team member by phone. Email, text message, social media message, web form, voicemail without a return confirmation, and statements to a Range Safety Officer do not satisfy this requirement.
- Timing. Notice must be received at least one full business day before the scheduled class start time. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays and days on which we are closed. Example: for a class beginning Saturday at 10:00 a.m., notice must be received no later than the close of business on Thursday. Weekend and holiday hours do not count toward the one-business-day requirement.
- What you receive. A one-time transfer of your paid class fee to another available session of the same class within ninety (90) days of the original class date, subject to seat availability and instructor scheduling. No refund, cash back, or partial credit is issued.
- One reschedule per purchase. Each class purchase may be rescheduled once. A second change request, or failure to attend the rescheduled session, results in complete forfeiture of the class fee.
- If no session is available within 90 days, at our sole discretion we may issue a non-refundable store credit of equal value, valid for twelve (12) months. Store credit is not redeemable for cash.
- Late notice and no-shows. Notice given less than one full business day before the class, arriving after the class start time, or failing to appear results in forfeiture of the entire class fee with no reschedule, credit, or refund.
- Transfers to another person. With our advance written approval, you may transfer your seat to another eligible participant who meets all age, eligibility, and Waiver requirements. The original purchaser must ensure the substitute executes the Waiver before the class.
- Independent instructors. Where a class is taught by an independent third-party instructor under Section 9 of the Waiver, rescheduling is subject to that instructor's availability and scheduling.
3.2 What the exception does not cover
The rescheduling exception applies only to classes and scheduled instruction. It does not apply to range time, memberships, the Gold Safe Shooter Program, gift cards, retail products, ammunition, rentals, event bookings, facility rentals, or any assessed fee.
4. Cancellations by Shoot Indoors
If we cancel a class or scheduled service, or cannot provide it due to instructor unavailability, insufficient enrollment, facility closure, equipment failure, or other cause, you may choose either (a) transfer to another available session of the same class, or (b) a full refund of the amount paid for the cancelled session. This is the only circumstance in which Shoot Indoors issues monetary refunds. Refunds under this Section are returned to the original payment method within five to ten (5–10) business days of approval.
5. Eligibility, Denial of Service, and Forfeiture
Use of the range and participation in classes require that you:
- execute the Waiver — first-time shooters must complete it online before check-in;
- present a valid government-issued photo ID, which is held at the front desk during your visit and must be retrieved before departure;
- meet the minimum age requirements in the Waiver — a minor must be at least 10 to take a training class and at least 12 to shoot on the range with a guardian and without an instructor, with a parent or legal guardian executing the Waiver and maintaining direct supervision and control at all times;
- be legally permitted to possess and handle a firearm under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) and 18 Pa.C.S. § 6105;
- not be under the influence of drugs (including THC) or alcohol;
- if a foreign national, comply with all applicable ITAR and export control laws; and
- comply with all range rules, Range Safety Officer directives, and the Customer Code of Conduct.
No refund or reschedule is issued — and fees are forfeited in full — if you are denied service, removed from the facility, or barred from participation for any reason, including that you decline to execute the Waiver, cannot present acceptable identification, do not meet age or supervision requirements, are not legally eligible, appear impaired, violate a range rule or staff directive, or provide unauthorized instruction. Consistent with the Waiver, reckless or unsafe behavior results in immediate removal without refund and may be referred to law enforcement. Staff may also bar participation by any minor based on physical size or mental or emotional maturity, and may deny or revoke range access where a counter operator, RSO, or manager has concerns about a customer's behavior, demeanor, or safety suitability.
6. Relationship to the Waiver
Every participant must execute the Electronic Liability Release, Hold Harmless & Participation Agreement before using the range or attending a class. It is incorporated into this Store Policy by reference and remains in full force independent of any purchase, refund, reschedule, cancellation, or forfeiture.
Nothing in this Store Policy limits, waives, or modifies the Waiver, and nothing in the Waiver creates a right to a refund. Where this Policy and the Waiver address the same subject, the Waiver controls — including as to liability, assumption of risk, indemnification, equipment disclaimers, minors, recording consent, chargebacks, and dispute resolution. The Waiver states that it constitutes the entire agreement regarding participation and that no oral changes are valid; written management approval is required for any modification.
7. Assessed Fees
The following fees are disclosed in Section 4 of the Waiver, are non-refundable, and must be paid before leaving the facility. The parties agree these amounts are reasonable pre-estimates of costs difficult to calculate precisely, and are administrative charges, not penalties:
| Fee | Amount |
|---|---|
| Damage to range or property | $250 minimum plus actual repair or replacement cost as determined by management |
| Trolley strikes | May be reduced by management to $10 per bullet |
| Prohibited ammunition — armor-piercing, tracer, or incendiary | $500 (cost of shutting down the range for berm inspection) |
| Prohibited ammunition — bird, buck, or pelletized | $100 plus damages (berm and trolley inspection) |
| Biohazard cleanup of bodily fluids or contamination, including minor cuts | $50 plus any lost range revenue |
Ammunition is not included in any package unless expressly stated. You are responsible for tracking the cost of ammunition you use. You are financially responsible for any damage you cause, including damage caused by minors under your supervision. All bills must be paid before leaving the facility.
8. Ammunition and Regulated Items
- Ammunition, primers, powder, and loaded or used consumables are non-returnable and non-refundable under all circumstances, for safety and liability reasons.
- Armor-piercing, incendiary, and tracer ammunition are prohibited, as are bird, buck, and other pelletized ammunition.
- Only ammunition purchased at Shoot Indoors on the day of use may be run through company rental firearms.
- Steel-case ammunition (excluding 7.62x39 and 7.62x54R) and reloaded ammunition are limited to members only.
- Rifle calibers greater than .30-06 require prior management approval. No caliber exceeding .50 BMG is permitted.
- We may refuse or cancel any sale where we cannot verify age, identity, nationality and export eligibility, or legal eligibility to possess ammunition or handle a firearm.
Firearm sales and transfers. Shoot Indoors KOP LLC does not currently sell firearms or process firearm transfers. Rental firearms are available for on-premises use only. This Policy will be updated with transfer terms, background check fees, and waiting-period disclosures before any such service is offered.
9. Equipment Disclaimer, Defects, and Warranties
As stated in Section 5 of the Waiver, Shoot Indoors KOP LLC makes no express or implied warranties regarding the safety, reliability, or suitability of any firearm, ammunition, hearing or eye protection, or accessory. You are solely responsible for product selection and use. Rental firearms are accepted as-is. That disclaimer controls over this Section for those categories.
For new, unused, non-firearm retail merchandise (for example, apparel or accessories) that is defective on delivery, notify us within seven (7) days of purchase with your receipt and we will, at our option, repair, replace, or exchange the item. Items that have been used, fired, altered, assembled, or damaged after delivery are not eligible. Beyond this, products are covered solely by the applicable manufacturer's warranty, and warranty claims must be pursued with the manufacturer.
Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable statutory right you hold under Pennsylvania or federal law, including the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
10. Gift Cards
- Gift cards may be used for range time, retail purchases, and training.
- Digital gift cards are emailed immediately after purchase. Physical gift cards must be picked up in-store and cannot be mailed for security reasons.
- Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where Pennsylvania law requires cash redemption.
- Consistent with federal law, gift cards do not expire earlier than five (5) years from the date funds were last loaded, and we charge no dormancy or inactivity fees.
- Lost or stolen gift cards are replaced only with the original purchase record.
- Unredeemed balances are handled under Pennsylvania unclaimed property law.
11. Memberships and Recurring Billing
- Membership dues are billed automatically to the payment method on file at the interval stated at signup, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Before you complete a membership purchase, we disclose the recurring amount, billing frequency, renewal terms, and how to cancel.
- Dues already charged are non-refundable and are not prorated, including for unused months, non-visitation, relocation, or voluntary cancellation.
- To cancel, call (484) 965-9638 or submit written notice to the address above at least thirty (30) days before your next billing date. Cancellation stops future charges; benefits continue through the end of the paid period.
- We will provide advance written notice before increasing dues or materially changing renewal terms.
- Membership privileges, including Buddy Program and member-only privileges, may be suspended or revoked for conduct or safety reasons without refund.
12. Pricing, Availability, and Order Acceptance
- Prices, promotions, and availability are subject to change without notice.
- We make reasonable efforts to describe products and services accurately but do not warrant that descriptions, images, or pricing are error-free. In the event of a pricing or description error, we may cancel the affected order and, if you have paid, refund that amount as the sole remedy.
- Your order is an offer to purchase. Our acceptance occurs when we confirm the order or provide the product or service. We may limit quantities or decline any order.
13. Payments, Surcharges, Chargebacks, and Billing Disputes
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and other PCI-DSS compliant processors. We do not store full payment card numbers. Your statement will show a descriptor identifying Shoot Indoors KOP.
By purchasing, you authorize us to charge the total shown at checkout, including applicable Pennsylvania sales tax and any disclosed fees.
Card surcharge. A surcharge of 3% applies to credit card payments. The surcharge does not exceed our cost of acceptance, is disclosed before checkout, and appears as a separate line item on your receipt. No surcharge applies to debit card payments, cash, or gift card redemption.
Raise billing questions before you leave the facility. Section 17 and the signature page of the Waiver provide that billing questions or disputes must be raised directly with Shoot Indoors KOP LLC prior to leaving the facility, and that failure to do so constitutes acceptance of all charges. For online orders, call (484) 965-9638 promptly.
No-chargeback covenant. Under Section 17 of the Waiver, you agree not to initiate or pursue any chargeback, payment reversal, or payment dispute for charges authorized under that agreement, and you acknowledge that initiating a chargeback for services rendered, goods provided, or fees properly assessed constitutes a breach of contract. If you improperly initiate a chargeback, you agree to be financially responsible for the original transaction amount, any chargeback or dispute fees assessed to us, administrative costs of responding, and reasonable attorney's fees and collection costs where applicable.
Evidence. You expressly authorize us to submit the Waiver, audio and video recordings, transaction logs, and staff reports to financial institutions, card networks, or law enforcement in response to any chargeback or dispute.
We may suspend service and revoke membership where a chargeback is filed on a valid, delivered purchase.
This Section does not purport to override any non-waivable right you hold under the Fair Credit Billing Act, the Electronic Fund Transfer Act, or your card network's rules.
14. Recording on the Premises
Our facility is under audio and video recording throughout, including the lobby, retail area, classrooms, and range bays. Notice is posted at each entrance. No recording devices are installed in restrooms or changing areas. By entering, you consent to recording under Section 15 of the Waiver and 18 Pa.C.S. § 5704(4), and you acknowledge that these are shared, supervised spaces in which you have no reasonable expectation of privacy in any conversation. Recordings are used as evidence in incidents, claims, and payment disputes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
15. Order Records and Receipts
You will receive an electronic receipt for every online purchase, itemizing the products or services, total charged, any surcharge or tax, the payment method's last four digits, and the date. Retain your receipt; it is required for any reschedule request, defect claim, or gift card replacement.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Store Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Consistent with Section 18 of the Waiver, all disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, except actions to compel arbitration, enforce an arbitration award, or where arbitration is not permitted by law, which shall be brought exclusively in the Court of Common Pleas of Montgomery County. By purchasing and executing the Waiver, you knowingly and voluntarily waive your right to a trial by jury for any claim arising from that agreement.
17. Severability and Changes
If any provision of this Policy is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. We may update this Policy at any time by posting a revised version with a new "Last Updated" date. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
