GirlOnFire.life is coming to you to conduct the Maryland Wear & Carry Permit Course.*
Pre-requisite: You will also need to complete the GirlOnFire 4-hour Utah classroom course if
you have not done previously. Those hours will be credited towards your MD Wear & Carry
Permit Training. Next course is scheduled for May 14th at 5:00pm.
Included in Course: Two subsequent range sessions, one will be completed on Saturday
evening, and the other on or after Wednesday, June 5th. We will coordinate the range schedule
in class.
*Cost not including MD electronic fingerprinting, which will need to be obtained prior to
submitting application to the state. Instructions will be provided in the course.
Course Description:
The course is taught by MD State Police Certified, NRA Certified, and Utah BCI Certified
Firearm Instructors. Course instruction includes defensive strategies, mindset, suicide
prevention, de-escalation of force, drawing from the holster, criminal cues, less than lethal
options, home defense, personal safety strategies, active shooter prevention, auto safety, and
more. MD and U.S. federal firearms regulations, and comprehensive legal review will be
conducted.
Cost: $175 per person (not including range fee, ammunition or electronic fingerprinting)
